School District's Office of Special Education is pleased to provide this
website for the benefit of our great employees, our wonderful and
supportive parents and the surrounding community. We hope that
this website will help in providing the information and tools that are
needed to aid our children in preparing for the challenges of the 21st
century.
We hope that this website will also serve to improve teamwork and collaboration between our staff
and parents. We hope that you find your web experience a pleasant

Our Mission
The mission of the Burton School District's Office of Special
Education is to provide leadership, guidance and support to the school
and surrounding community we serve in order to maximize learning for
all; and within an inclusive environment, foster a love of learning that
will light our children's way to a successful and positive future and
continue to contribute to and benefit from our diverse society that we
live in and enjoy.
