Welcome to the Burton Elementary
School District web site. I hope that the information we are providing
is beneficial and that your interest in getting to know us better will
result in further contacts. Our history is one of commitment and tireless
support for our community's children. For over 120
years our community has entrusted their children to a dedicated faculty who
have clearly attempted to prepare children for leadership, citizenship, and
the world of work in one of the most bountiful agricultural valleys in the
world.
Every generation has recommitted themselves to these purposeful goals.
Today, we continue to provide our children with the foundations that will
secure a successful transition to our community's secondary schools.
Many of our graduates have distinguished themselves, and in large numbers,
many continue their education at both community and state universities.
We are pleased to have had the opportunity to assist our students and we
look forward to growing in our capacity to meet the challenges that are sure
to present themselves. Most importantly, this is a district that is
self-renewing and resilient. Our instructional staff is highly
skilled, dedicated, and highly focused on meeting both district and state
curriculum standards. We are a district that believes " no child
should ever be left behind". I encourage those who have an interest in
our school district and of our community to make further contact with this
office or directly to our respective school site administrators.
