Burton School District is made up of an All Day Kindergarten program, four Elementary schools (three K-4, one 5-6), one Junior High/Middle school, Two K-12 charter schools, and a Community Day School.
Summit Charter Academy - Lombardi opened in the fall of 2012. It is located on the northwest-side of Porterville serving students in Kindergarten through 6th grade grade focusing on the International Baccalaureate program.
Burton Pathways Charter Academy opened in the fall of 2010. It is located on the westside of Porterville on Olive streeet serving students in 9th through 12th grade and provides an alternative to large high school environments.
Summit Charter Collegiate Academy opened in the fall of 2008. It is located on the westside edge of Porterville serving students in 7th through 12th grade and provides a small, safe high school environment with the rigor of the International Baccalaureate program.
In the fall of 2005, the Summit Charter Academy - Mathew was established with the opening of Summit Charter Academy, Mathew Campus. It is located on the southwest end of Porterville with students from Kindergarten through 6th grade with a 90/10 dual-immersion program where students learn both Spanish and English.
