Mrs. Adriana Franco
Hello everyone! I am Adriana Franco, and it is my honor and priviledge to serve as the Burton Middle School, Principal. I started my teaching carreer in 1999. I worked in Lindsay where I served as an elementary teacher in the dual immersion program. I then taught mathematics at the middle school level. When I came to Burton Middle School in 2007, I started teaching math, and later served as a school counselor, and vice principal. I love our school!
Education and serving others is my passion! I love learning and serving and inspiring others to do the same. I want to encourage and support all of our students to become life long learners, develop as leaders and pursue their passion. I was the first one from my family to obtain a college degree. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree and teaching credential from CSU Bakersfield. I earned a Master of Arts degree in Mathematics Education from Fresno Pacific University. and a second Masters in Child, Family, and Marital Therapy from Pacific Oaks College. Additionally, I earned a school counceling and administrative services credential.
When I am not working, I like to spend time with my husband, my daughter, and my son. I enjoy being involved in my kids activities, traveling, working out, reading and gardening.
