Mrs. Felicia Silva Hello BMS Bulldogs and families. I am excited to get to know all of you while serving as your school counselor. This year marks my third year as a school counselor within the Burton School District.

I attended California State University, Fresno and graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Minor in Psychology. I worked in a number of social service organizations that have ranged from non-profit to federal employment servicing families with various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

I continued my education, and returned to California State University, Fresno obtaining my Master’s Degree in Social Work and Pupil Personnel Services Credential with an emphasis in School Counseling, School Social Work, and Child Welfare and Attendance.

I do enjoy being in a position to be able to positively impact the lives of our students and families through counseling services. My goal is to be a resource and comfort to the community that I take a great pride in serving.

I enjoy spending a lot of time with my family that includes my husband and 2 sons and a daughter. I also enjoy spending time with friends, attending concerts, and traveling.
