Welcome to the Burton School District!Located in Porterville, in the heart of California's San Joaquin Valley, we are comprised of six schools and two charter schools: Burton Elementary School (Knd-4th), Oak Grove Elementary School (Knd-4th), Buckley Elementary (a 2010 Distinguished School) (Knd-4th), Jim Maples Academy (5th-6th), Burton Middle School (7th-8th), Burton Community Day School (Knd-8th), Summit Charter Academy (Knd-6th), Summit Charter Collegiate Academy (7th-12th), and Burton Pathways Charter High School (9th-12th), which opened in August, 2010.
